09 Mother’s Day – Send Health to Mom

It still wants 1 more months until Mother’s Day. But I had already fallen to thinking about Mother’s Day gifts, for things that took place these months made me realized how much my mom meant to me and how important health is. Last November, my mother got sudden deafness, which was caused by hypertension. Suddenly, she could not catch any sound. Our whole family felt weak in those hard days. Fortunately, the doctor cured her of the disease. So different from the past years, I decided to send health to my mom this Mother’s Day. I hope she has a sound body and spends every day happily.

The first gift I will choose is a kBell. I heard it from my aunt who often took exercise with her kBell. Last year she lost 30 pound with that little thing. Overweight is the leading killer of health. Another reason I send my mom a kBell as mother’s Day gifts is that I hope she can insist on do exercise in an interesting process. She hates boring!

The second gift I want to send is some healthcare products. Like nutritional supplements and home medicine cabinet. Blood pressure monitor is a must have for hypertension. Thirdly, I want to her to join a discount dental plan. My mom has many dental problems, but she didn’t have dental insurance. A lot of money was spent in the dentist’s these years. And their discount plans have less restrictions and more flexibility. I heard if enroll during March, customers can save 25%. Maybe I will join it this month.

The last gift I want to choose is a book. I sent a book to her every Mother’s Day as a matter of fact. As she hooked on cooking after retirement, I will give a cooking book to her this Mother’s Day.  I will buy them at Abebooks.com, a big online marketplace for books. You can find almost any book you want from there. What’s more, they can return the purchase within 30 days. I bought a book there last month and their service made me had to buy another book there.
